I’m absolutely blessed by the encouragement I’ve been receiving regarding our current sermon series. Thank you for the positive feedback so great to hear how people are seeing it. I’m certainly excited by this series.
I really felt like God dropped another revelatory truth as I was sharing about the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. In Mark 5: 25 – 34 it tells us of how there were many that pressed in and touched Jesus as he was travelling through a town street but only one that drew the power out of Him. It was her faith that did this.
It’s such a simple truth but often overlooked in our lives. It’s in our expectations or the releasing of faith that we see God at work. I liken it to our Sunday meetings, when we come expectant that’s when we get a greater sense of his presence in our lives. The bible says it this way “draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”
Part of our vision to Connect with God and people in a deeper way requires a whole lot of faith and expectation on our part. This places us in a searching mode, a “seeking out” if you like. Lets’ determine in our hearts to come together this week and seek Him first. Seek and you shall find.
Just a reminder that this Saturday morning we are hosting our first Mens’ Breakfast for the year. Joining us is Guest Speaker, Ps Dave Wallace from City East Church.
Also next week are our Good Friday and Easter Sunday 10am services, so make sure you come along!
Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday at our 10am and 5pm services.
Blessings, Nu and Taua
