Firstly wasn’t Sunday amazing? There was such a great sense of God’s presence during the worship which was so well lead and then hearing testimonies from Louisa Crosby and Michelle Greenstreet. I loved their transparency and honesty as they both shared about where they were at in their relationship with God. I hope to make this a regular feature in our services this year. So come back next week to see who else will be sharing their story.
In my readings I’ve be starting again at the Gospel according to Luke and going over the first encounter that Mary had with Elizabeth. The Bible says that when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
Here you have two woman who experienced two miraculous conceptions. I believe Mary’s visit to the home of Elizabeth was so that she would see this miracle and it would encourage her with her own miracle. Mary, in seeing Elizabeth pregnant even though she was well past the age of child bearing, it would have confirmed in her own heart that miracles do happen. Today I want to encourage you to keep pursuing your miracle. Keep claiming it, Keep speaking it out. Breakthrough is coming, miracles do happen!
This week we have the amazing Ian Grant with us on Saturday 21st Feb, 10am – 2pm. He’ll be speaking on the Father Heart of God. It’s $5.00 at door and includes morning tea. There’s child care available at $2.00 an hour per child for children 4 – 12 years old.
Then we have Ian Grant speaking two different messages at our 10am and 5pm services. Do whatever you can to be at both meetings you will be glad you did.
And don’t forget to register for Camp. This is going to be a great time for us as a church. Getting to connect with each other takes a little bit of time and having the time and space to do this at camp is perfect. As an added bonus we have Ps Tom Hatch, Elim Christian Centre in Blenhiem as our guest speaker on the first night.
Contact Anna Benny for more information.
Let’s get behind these two great events. You’ll be so glad you did.
