Firstly I want to thank the amazing people who serve us each week in our Host teams, Music and AV teams, JTeam, Powerzone and Utopia Ministries. Our church is built on the dedication of its members and we have some very dedicated members. Please remember to thank our volunteers, give them lots of encouragement and definitely lots of smiles.
Also I have to say thank you to our staff who helped to make Sundays great in particular Anna Benny, who is doing a fantastic job of coping with all the demands whilst expecting their first baby in September.
Last Sunday was a great day. We honoured our Mums in a very special way but most of all God was in the place. The Presence of God was so strong that we had people weeping at the altar and in their seats. Even the music team felt the strong anointing of God in the place. We are in for exciting times.
This Sunday as part of our Courage series we have a courageous couple, Josh and Trish Hastie, being interviewed about the challenges and blessings they face in raising their son Bob who has Williams Syndrome. I will be sharing a message that has be brewing in my heart about the mind-set of courageous people. Also we are trialling a new service order. I want to trial having the worship after the message so as to give more time to ministry and response to the word. This means there will only be one praise song at start and then family time. This won’t change our finish time. We’ll give this a few weeks and then review. Do let me know how it is for you.
I’m believing for a greater increase of the Presence of God in our meetings. Come expectant, God is moving and will meet you right where you are at.
Have a great week, see you Sunday
