In Acts 12 we read about Peters miraculous escape from prison with the help of an Angel of the Lord. The believers had been praying for Peter while this was happening and when Peter arrives at the door the believers initially don't believe it is him. After some convincing they allow Peter into the house. It was easier for Peter to get out of Prison than it was for him to get into the prayer meeting.
Sometimes this is the way it is with us. We pray for breakthrough and when we get an answer we don't recognise it as Breakthrough because it's not quite the answer we expected.
The Israelites prayed that they would be rescued from their Roman oppressors, they expected a King in shining armour. But God sent Jesus of Nazareth the son of a humble carpenter. The Israelites received their saviour but not the one they expected.
Whatever it is that you're believing for today. Keep praying and watch God answer your prayer but be prepared for God to answer it His way.
