This Sunday is “Breakthrough Sunday”. We are believing the God of Miracles will pour out a miracle on life. So come this Sunday with your prayer needs whether it’s something for you personally or for someone you know.
Let’s believe that the God of Heaven and Earth and everything in it will give you your miracle.
Bring people with you!
This week we start a 3 week series called “Jesus Is”. We are looking at the four parts of the Gospel and its relevance for us in 21st Century New Zealand. I can’t wait to share this with you all so make sure you’re here on Sunday for the first part.
On Monday I traveled to Auckland to speak to 29 Pastors in training at Ministry Development School. Whilst in Auckland I was able to meet my niece, Julie, for the first time and I also managed to squeeze in a visit with a cousin of mine who had just finished his second lot of Chemotherapy treatment at Auckland Hospital. So it was both a happy and sad time in my short trip.
At times this scripture becomes a life line for me….”The joy of the Lord is my Strength”. It’s a key part of being a Christian, maintaining your Joy.
Did you know that it’ s spiritual as much as it is emotional? Joy is second only to Love as part of the Fruit of the Spirit in your life. This should serve as reminder and a blessing to us all. Because you have the Spirit of God in you, you have access the ongoing fruit of the Spirit as it’s outworked in your life, and joy is part of that!
So today, find space to praise God. Whether in the car, in your room or out and about. Find time to praise God and by doing so, lift your hearts towards him. Feel your countenance change, your attitude in situations shift. You are to be salt and light in the world. Joy in the Lord will empower you to do that.
God our Father is so worthy of all our praise (even when we don't feel like it). As you lift him up, He lifts you up with him. Let the Joy of the Lord radiate from you today. Love on God the way He loves on you.
Make sure you don’t miss this Sunday, it is going to be amazing.
Blessings Nu and Taua.
